Search Engine Optimisation

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of tailoring a website so that search engines, such as Google, Yahoo and Bing, rank the site highly and thus it appears within the first few pages of the resultant search.

Our service is primarily aimed at new sites, but we would be pleased to extend the service to cover existing sites.

Websites are optimised using all current techniques and new ones as they emerge. As rules and/or practices change, we amend sites accordingly and resubmit them to search engines, as appropriate.

Search Engine Submission
Search Engine Submission is the process of periodically submitting websites to search engines on a regular basis; frequently enough to be recognised and rated, but without appearing as 'Spam'. This service is provided as standard for the first year. Further submission programmes can be instigated as required.

Search Engine
A Search Engine is a software program which searches website pages, or other documents contained in a database, for specified keywords  and displays a list of sites and their locations.

Spiders
Search Engines use 'Spiders' to crawl over  the Web and collect pages, which are then indexed, based on the words contained within each document, and stored in a database.
